About our Fall Fundraiser

Friends, colleagues, and strangers get to together to celebrate and remember the incredible life of Matthew Daniel Potel. Join us at Teatown Nature Reservation to honor Matthew, and raise money towards the Matthew Potel Foundation's mission to get children into the great outdoors. Due to the ongoing pandemic, our fall fundraiser has been cancelled the past two years, but we look forward to gathering again together one day soon.

Getting outdoors

Our goal is to get children outdoors- but it doesn't stop there! A naturalist leads the group on one of the many trails at the Reservation every year.
